On Friday, January 29, 2021 Paul Connett spoke with Bob Joseph on his radio show regarding the need for the Village of Endicott Board of Trustees to hear public opinion at the February 1st Public Hearing. The Public Hearing is to rescind the Local Recycling Law that currently does not protect the health, safety, and property values of Endicott’s residents from SungEel and other polluting recycling companies.
The three trustees who want to protect Endicott’s residents from this horrible law will then write a new recycling law that welcomes new recycling companies to Endicott BUT ALSO contains no high-temperature processes, no incineration, and no release of carcinogens.
As Paul said, we need public opinion at the February 1 Public Hearing. For details on calling in or Zoom login, see the Village of Endicott Board Meetings site or the https://noburnbroome.com/ Home page.
